In early 1981 DFI went into business with the initial sale of 100 graphic display cards. Business boomed and DFI continued to developed new products with a focus on technology and customer satisfaction. This commitment has led to annual revenues well over US$250 million and an international reputation for quality.

Recently DFI was ranked the 10th largest motherboard manufacturer with US operation in Computer Reseller News in 1997. They are one of the world’s largest and most trusted manufacturers of PC Components. Their head office in Taiwan coordinates the production of over 200,000 Pentium, Pentium Pro, Pentium II system boards, graphic card and other components each month.

In July 1998, DFI renamed its industrial division to ITOX, Inc. ITOX ... Light Industrial Computers has incorporated DFI’s 16 years of computer manufacturing experience to meet today’s demand for Affordable and High Quality Light Industrial Solutions.

ITOX, Inc. offers a full line of standard and custom PC based platforms and motherboards for CTI applications. They focus on X86 and related technology for products ranging from wall mounted 486 class systems to rack mounted dual Pentium II configurations. All ITOX products offer a long product life cycle.

ITOX computer systems and motherboards have been known for high quality for over 16
years.

Certification

DFI tests and certifies systems for compatibility with major software packages. In-house Certified Novell Engineers test their systems with the powerful and popular network software packages: Novell Netware and UnixWare. Many of DFI’s system boards qualify for the “Designed for Microsoft Windows 95 logo”. These logos are only given out after rigorous testing by Microsoft. DFI systems are also certified for Windows NT, OS/2 Warp and SCO Unix. These certifications assure customers that their solutions will work, and work well with DFI systems.

OEM Products

Major OEM’s and distributors add value to their product line with DFI rock-solid reliability. Our OEM customers provide a product concept or product design. Our technical staff then engineers and manufacturers products in accordance with the customer’s specifications. Our customers know they can count on DFI to deliver great products on time, every time.
