January 12, 2005: ICE Healthcare a company specialising in supply chain management for the healthcare and related industries has implemented the Broadband Telephony (BBT) solution provided from Voxicon Ltd.

ICE Healthcare has purchased the Broadband Telephony solution for both of it's locations in Ascot and Nottingham, with modules including, Advanced Voicemail, Fax to Email and Phone Manager. This provides ICE Healthcare with a single unified dial plan across both locations as well as free on-net calls between these locations.

Asa Cox, Director at ICE Healthcare, explains, "we were using a standard PaBX system at our previous location and wanted to move away from this type of traditional system as it did not offer the flexibility or scalability that we required at ICE Healthcare. With the new BBT solution installed in our new offices we now have a fully managed telephony solution ideal for a virtual SME like us. It has provided ICE Healthcare with the advanced functionality we need to run our organisation at a significantly lower cost."

He continues, "using this managed telephony solution we are able to add users as and when we need them via the web based system management tool, without needing to buy additional BT lines or wait for BT engineers to install them. Enabling the system to match the fast grow of our business in a seamless fashion."

Moving forward, ICE Healthcare plan to use the service in other locations around the world such as India and China, which means calls made between these locations on-net using the BBT service will be free of charge which will be a major benefit of the BBT service for ICE Healthcare in the future.
