ZTE TO UNVEIL ITS WIDEST PRODUCT PORTFOLIO EVER AT SUPERCOMM 2005 ZTE Corporation of China, one of the world's fastest growing telecommunications companies, is to unveil to the US its most extensive product portfolio ever at June's Supercomm 2005 in Chicago.
Visitors to the stand (no. 33085) will be able to see first-hand some of ZTE's most advanced solutions. On display will be the Corporation's leading CDMA2000 and 3GSM mobile communications technology, unique GoTa (Global open Trunking architecture) technology, converged optical transport networks, Broadband IP access network solutions and a range of 3G handsets, including one of the world's smallest 3G handsets, the F808.
"ZTE is expanding its presence in the US and Supercomm offers us an ideal opportunity to show what we can offer to this advanced market," said US-based ZTE Executive, Ms Ma Lin.
"ZTE is one of the few companies that can offer a total wireless solution and our CDMA2000 solutions have been successfully deployed across South America. We are also rapidly expanding our presence around the world with international sales growing by 169.5% in 2004: a success that is underpinned by local support and expertise."
ZTE has established three research and development offices in the US, in San Diego, Dallas and New Jersey. Earlier this year ZTE announced a collaboration with US-based Intel Corporation to jointly deliver global broadband wireless solutions using WiMAX technology. As part of this agreement, ZTE will develop and deploy infrastructure equipment using Intel's silicon for WiMAX solutions based on IEEE 802.16-2004, and the upcoming IEEE 802.16e standards for mobile networks. The companies will also work jointly with regulatory agencies in key global markets for securing adequate radio spectrum for broadband services based on WiMAX technology.
ZTE has also entered an agreement with US-based Spirent Communications under which Spirent will supply the Corporation with its Landslide CDMA2000 Test System for the development of ZTE's advanced, next-generation wireless Packet Data Serving Node (PSDN) platforms.
