Fountain Valley, CA, April 12, 2005 - D-Link and Dimark Technologies, Inc. today announced the incorporation of Dimark's TR-069 technology into a wide range of D-Link broadband hardware equipment, resulting in greater management capabilities and reduction of time and cost for the service provider looking to deploy customer premises equipment (CPE) devices. D-Link hardware carrying the Dimark TR-069 technology will be sold primarily through service providers, enabling remote monitoring of D-Link networking devices, such as broadband modems, networking and VoIP gateways, CPE and integrated access devices.

The combination of D-Link hardware with Dimark's TR-069 technology will allow service providers to automatically configure and remotely manage customer premises equipment (CPE) from a central location, thereby reducing the costs associated with truck rolls and on-site troubleshooting. By providing service providers with TR-069 support embedded in its hardware, D-Link will enable service providers to lower their total operating costs of maintaining, managing, and provisioning the CPE devices of their customers.

"Working with Dimark allows us to add more value for our service provider partners," said Keith A. Karlsen, executive vice president for D-Link. "Having remote configuration capability built directly into our hardware not only helps service providers streamline installations, but it also helps them cut the costs normally associated with activation, management and support."

"With the rapid adoption of TR-069 by broadband service providers, the integration of Dimark's technology into D-Link's market-leading products creates a tremendous opportunity for both companies to win new business," said Larry Woodard, vice president of marketing for Dimark. "D-Link's reputation for network technology excellence is a strong compliment to Dimark's expertise in provisioning, managing and monitoring CPE for service providers."

D-Link is a significant player in the service provider market space because it has developed a wide range of broadband products available for CPE equipment. From ADSL and cable modems to VoIP routers, D-Link's extensive product breadth gives the diversity needed to adapt for future, emerging markets and opportunities. Since 1986, D-Link has defined "leading edge" and has manufactured networking products that are easy to use, both value-priced and reliable. D-Link is dedicated to building high-quality connectivity solutions at a cost-effective price-point. For more than 18 years, D-Link has been developing business relationships and investing in a system that has opened access to more than 100 countries through 87 offices worldwide.
