Tokyo, Japan, May. 12, 2005 - Today ANA (All Nippon Airways; TSE: 9202) introduced real-time Internet and e-mail services on its Tokyo-New York route, giving passengers the chance to keep in touch with colleagues, business partners and families, or to simply surf the net, through a broadband connection to the aircraft. The system, branded as ANA@AIR, comes packaged with ANA's new Boeing 777-300ER service to North America. This variant of the popular Boeing 777 family will replace the current daily Boeing 747-400 service on the Tokyo-New York route, carrying 247 passengers in a four class configuration: 8 First Class, 77 New Style Club ANA, 24 Premium Economy and 138 Economy.

Passengers are able to access the Internet on their own laptops via a choice of wired or wireless connections in First Class, New Style Club ANA and Premium Economy, or via wireless in Economy class.

The same aircraft type, also equipped with Connexion by Boeing, will be introduced onto the Tokyo-Los Angeles route in October this year, and the Tokyo-San Francisco route in March 2006.

ANA was the first airline in Asia to introduce inflight Internet and e-mail services on November 15, 2004.

In addition to their laptops, passengers need to provide a wireless LAN card or LAN cable to access the onboard Internet and e-mail. Seats in First Class, Club ANA and Premium Economy are equipped with universal laptop power outlets.
