Available in Q4, 2005, SMC's new products for building and extending wireless mesh networks are ideal for deployment where large areas need to be covered and cable runs are impractical. Instead, each Mesh AP accessing the network acts also as a transmission/access point, making mesh networks highly scalable and flexible.
