Burlington, Mass. – October 6, 2006 – Reef Point Systems (www.reefpoint.com), the security solutions technology leader for fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) networks, announced today that it has expanded its Asia-Pacific business development efforts with the appointment of industry veterans Peter Williams and Tony Poulos, respectively, as Vice President of Business Development, Asia and Vice President of Strategic Relations, Asia. Williams and Poulos each bring well over 20 years of technology and services business development success in the Asia-Pacific region to Reef Point.

Peter Williams has more than 25 years experience in the information technology business. He comes to Reef Point from Datacraft Asia, the leading independent IT services and solutions company in Asia Pacific, where he was Director of Solutions Development and grew the business from $30M to $160M (USD) during the last several years. Prior to joining Datacraft, Williams was a Managing Partner for HLB Consulting, a worldwide network of business advisors, and provided input to the development of the Indonesian e-commerce legislative framework. Earlier, he was Vice President of Consulting for Computer Associates Asia, one of the world's largest information technology management software companies. William's previous appointments at Computer Associates include Director of Computing, a strategy consulting role responsible for devising and providing integrated computing solutions for customers including Commonwealth Bank, BP Australia and IBM Thailand. Mr. Williams is based in Singapore.
Tony Poulos has more than 20 years of experience in software development and systems integration for the telecommunications and travel service providers and has been head of the Asia Pacific Global Billing Association for more than five years. He was a founder and managing director of Facilitasia, a premier consultancy that focuses on business support systems for telecommunications service providers across Asia. Poulos was involved in the development of convergent billing systems in the early 1990s in Australia (BACCIS), and from there he worked in a business development role with Unisys in Europe. He was also a co-founder of Copernicus Global Billing Services, a London based, web-enabled, managed service provider for outsourced billing and payments collection, and was VP, Business Development of Telecoms Solutions at Logica Asia. Poulos is a regular speaker and chairman at numerous telecommunications conferences in Europe and Asia-Pacific as well as a contributing analyst to IDC Asia. Mr. Poulos is based in Singapore.
