Job Description:
Web Marketing Manager
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Advertising & Promotions Manager
Location:          Needham, MA
Basic Purpose    The Web Marketing Manager is responsible for driving
the strategic development and maintenance of each Brooktrout divisional
web sites, related servers as well as the internal Brooktrout Technology
Intranet.

Primary duties and responsibilities:
* Maintain all aspects of divisional web sites including content,
brand identity, product launch initiatives, redesigns and links with
third-parties
* Develop and maintain Brooktrout Technology Intranet site.
* Manage current Electronic Communications Manager on multiple
divisional web site projects, internal fax server and QuadraFax system.
* Work with product management and product marketing for the
development of on-line promotional campaigns
* Coordinate on-line chat and public relations programs as
required
* Maintain Brooktrout brand identity across multidivisional
platforms
* Help develop interactive multimedia CDs as required
* Design/create web ready graphics for use on all divisional web
sites
* Compile and analyze "hit" statistics
* Research and implement new web-based technologies as necessary
Requirements:
Education:     BS degree or equivalent years experience, as webmaster
preferred.
Prior Work Experience :   3+ years as web master or web programmer and
experience in a Corporate Marketing environment.
Specialized Skills and Knowledge:   Experience with Windows, UNIX
and Mac environments and all Web-based protocols. Experience programming
in JavaScript, PERL, HTML and standard Internet software. Strong
marketing and creative orientation, demonstrating creative and design
capabilities.  Thorough understanding of advertising, marketing
communications, and product management principles and practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills.  Ability to learn and understand
company's full product offering.  Able to work independently and timely.
Must be comfortable initiating programs and ideas on how to improve Web
sites.

Job Description:
Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Needham, MA, Location

Responsible for designing and implementing Test Plans, Test Procedures
and all associated test cases necessary for verification of Brooktrout's
Needham-based Electronic Messaging products.  Primary duties and
responsibilities include:

* Developing and implementing Test Procedures and associated Test
Cases
* Assist other Software Quality Engineers in designing and
implementing Test Procedures and Test cases
* Work with Software Development and Technical Publications in the
review of Functional Specifications and documentation
* Work with Technical Support in researching and reproducing
critical problems
* Research and correct software and/or hardware problems with lab
equipment

Education:  Open
Prior Work Experience:  2+ years of related experience in
telecommunications preferred.  Familiarity with fax and voice messaging
applications is highly desirable, as is:  Perlscripting, Unix, C.

Material Planner
Location: Needham, MA
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: 
        To understand and control the material flow for Brooktrout
production requirements. Daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly inventory
levels. Converting the sales forecasts into inventory plans. Reviewing production
schedules and preparing requirement plans. Evaluate material shortages/single
source parts and determine appropriate inventory levels.

Conduct and report on cycle counts.
Generate weekly and monthly material reports.
Prepare spreadsheets and Oracle reports for material and
production capacity.
Help identify inventory issues.

Must have excellent communications and organizational skills, must be detail oriented, self motivated, and have the ability to
work as a team player.

Requirements:

Product Manager - Messaging Products (North America)
Location: Needham, MA

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible for North American portion
of the TR114 Universal Port product line (hardware, firmware APIs and related
application development software). These products include:

TR114 Universal Port Fax and Voice Platforms - North American Markets
Brooktrout Fax and Voice API
Enhanced Call Control API - Shared with Product Manager -
Messaging Product - International
Netaccess ISDN Network Interface Products in US
TR114 Firmware

The goal of the Product Manager is to develop product strategies
and plans that will continue to grow Brooktrout's leading position in fax and
to improve our position in voice messaging. This position will require
substantial coordination with other product managers responsible for TR114 international
requirements, next generation fax and voice products (TR1000) and data/remote
access products.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Product Manager is responsible for planning and directing
the profitable growth of the assigned products or product line. There are three
major responsibilities:

Product Planning
Market definition
Customer needs analysis
Competitive product analysis
Product functional requirements documentation
Product release
Coordination of the development and release of all
elements of the shipping product
Product forecasting
Technical sales support
Sales support material
Sales training
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Requirements
Education:    Undergraduate degree or equivalent and MBA
preferred
Prior Work Experience :  3 to 7 years experience in Product
Management in a "high tech" company required.
Experience in the telecommunications industry preferred

Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
Experience in market analysis
Experience in customer needs analysis
Experience in identification of product functional
requirements
Experience in the communication between marketing and the
development and sales organizations required
