IQ Admin
Simplifies Enterprise-wide System Administration with one source access to databases for
station moves, adds and changes (MACs) and telemanagement functions. Station
characteristics are displayed in an easy to understand graphic faceplate format. By using
Windows-based, "point-and-click" simplicity, system administrators can perform
station MACs more quickly and efficiently than by typing codes and commands. Eliminating
keystrokes also eliminates time-consuming corrections caused by key-command errors. As the
central point for station administration, IQ Admin is a powerful tool for enterprise-wide
administrative control. In addition to station MAC capabilities, IQ Admin will provide
voice mailbox administration for the Digital Sound VoiceServer product. Intecom will also
extend this single point of administration philosophy to call accounting and facilities
management by integrating IQ Admin with IntegraTRAK's WinTRAK telemanagement system. Create Custom Reports IQ Admin's intelligent filtering allows you to create
customized reports to optimize system management. Pick and choose the information you want
to see from various switch databases to create a " snapshot" of your station
database. For example, suppose you have received a number of requests to add a station
feature to all ITE-12SDs in the marketing department. Create a report that lets you know
the name, button template number and port number of all ITE-12SDs in marketing. Make the
change, print detail sheets and know exactly whose phone needs to be detailed. Reports may
be viewed at the IQ Admin workstation or printed in hardcopy. Changes to the system can be made immediately, be scheduled
for a specific date and time or be scheduled as a recurring process at specified
intervals. Respectively, examples of the latter two functions of IQ Admin allows
telecommunications systems administrators to schedule and execute the move of an entire
department or to automatically change call forwarding schemes by time of day. IQ Admin provides multiple system administrators simultaneous access to multiple telecommunications platforms from a non-dedicated LAN-based PC workstation. Access to IQ Admin is password protected based on user ID and can be restricted by telecommunications platform and functional area, such as ports, voice lines, class of service, button templates, etc., within each platform. Each authorized IQ Admin administrator can be restricted to any combination of edit/view/create/delete privileges within each functional area of each system. IQ Admin can be accessed simultaneously by up to 32 system administrators. With IQ Admin's remote management capabilities, system administrators no longer need to be on-site to perform or schedule station changes.
