Bandspeed’s AirMaestro™ WLAN Platform Certified for Use with ShoreTel Technology
Bandspeed today announced that the company has completed the Technology Partner Program (TPP) Certification and that the AirMaestro WLAN platform has been approved for use with the ShoreTel unified communications system. The completed certification demonstrates interoperability between industry-leading solutions from Bandspeed and ShoreTel, and validates the AirMaestro solution as an enterprise-class WLAN designed to support voice.
The Technology Partner Program Certification will enable companies to confidently extend their ShoreTel unified communications system over high-performance, secure wireless networks that support seamless mobility within the enterprise by deploying a Bandspeed AirMaestro WLAN. The AirMaestro WLAN platform, consisting of AirMaestro Access Points (APs) that are centrally monitored and managed with AirMaestro WLAN Management Software, supports quality-of-service standards, intelligent interference avoidance, AP load balancing and fast roaming features required to support voice over a WLAN.

ShoreTel’s Technology Partner Program certifies companies offering products that complement and extend the ShoreTel IP unified communications system’s capabilities, providing customers with hardware and software options to optimize their communications infrastructure and investment. Membership in the Technology Partner Program requires that all companies pass ShoreTel’s interoperability certification testing in ShoreTel’s test lab. Partners are also required to provide integration documentation that makes it easy for customers to leverage these solutions in their networks.
