China VoIP & Digital Telecom Celebrates Grand Opening of its Shandong Center
On June 19, 2009, the Shandong Virtualization Technology Promotion and Application Center (the Center) celebrated its grand opening in the High-tech area of China’s Jinan Province. The Center is the brainchild of Jinan Yinquan Technology Co., Ltd. (Yinquan), a wholly owned subsidiary of China VoIP & Digital Telecom Inc. (CVDT.OB). The Center was designated as the only virtualization technology research and development and marketing facility by the government in May 2009. A number of government leaders and Vmware Inc. (NYSE: VMW) president for Greater China attended the opening ceremony.

The appointment of the Center demonstrated the Shandong government’s support and endorsement of Yinquan’s virtualization technology. As the highest authority of information technology promotion and application in Shandong, the Center will play a leading role in marketing virtualization technology in Shandong.
Shandong Province has started to promote virtualization technology since last year and the first group of pilot clients includes the provincial and municipal departments, municipal information departments, as well as 20 other large and medium-sized enterprises. The government designated Yinquan as the only company in Shandong Province to implement virtualization projects.
