Digium and Asteria Solutions Group Extend Partnership
Digium, Inc., the Asterisk Company, and Asteria Solutions Group, a developer of solutions based on the open-source Asterisk telephony platform, today announced the renewal of the two companies’ partnership. Asteria has been a Digium Premier Software Partner since 2007 and has contributed to Asterisk since Asteria’s founding in 2004. The company provides software that works with Asterisk, including OmegaDial, the Web-based autodialer for high-volume call campaigns, and also draws upon its deep knowledge of Asterisk to create custom telephony solutions to meet unique business requirements.

Digium offers a wide range of Asterisk-based software, appliances and hardware that enable service providers, resellers, integrators and businesses to quickly implement turnkey telephony systems or, for customers who want a tailored solution, to design specialized voice over IP (VoIP) systems.
In addition to the OmegaDial autodialer, Asteria provides the Assist interface for call center agents and INsight queue management system. Asteria’s software, combined with its consultants’ knowledge of Asterisk and telephony, Linux, customer relationship management (CRM) applications, Web development and database technology, allow the company to create custom telephony solutions for organizations of all sizes.
“Our five-year relationship with Digium has been very rewarding,” said David Mattern, vice president of business development for Asteria. “Renewing as a Premier Software Partner demonstrates our commitment to Digium and the Asterisk community. We look forward to continuing this synergistic relationship.”
“Our strong relationship with Asteria is based on the company’s demonstrated expertise in creating software applications that build on the Asterisk platform,” said Jim Webster, director of technology partnerships at Digium. “As more companies look for cost-effective phone systems that integrate with other business software, we think that demand for the type of products and services provided by Asteria will continue to rise.”
