The CTIA Emerging Technology Awards program, consisting of a panel of 30 recognized members of the media, industry analysts and executives, reviewed nearly 300 applications for top honors in innovation, functionality, technological importance, implementation and overall “wow” factor.

“We are thrilled to be recognized as one of the premier companies among our peers at the 4th Annual CTIA E-Tech Awards,” said Mohan Sadashiva, senior vice president, marketing for FusionOne. “This recognition further validates what we already know – consumers are increasingly interested in using their mobile phones to record information such as contacts or photos, downloading games, applications, videos and much more. They would like to ensure they can share and transfer this information easily and legitimately in their mobile life.”

This industry recognition, coupled with FusionOne’s recent news at CTIA regarding its patent award for mobile phone wireless backup and sync, plus its partnership announcements with several technology and content partners, further illustrates the company’s strong position in the marketplace. To date, the company has protected over 1.5 billion mobile phone contacts on numerous carriers worldwide, including Verizon Wireless, TELUS, Telstra, Bell Mobility and Cellular South.
