Siemens Gigaset Debuts Premier Telephony & Convergence Product Suite at CES 2010

LAS VEGAS, Jan 07, 2010—Siemens Gigaset Communications, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of cordless telephones and a pioneer in the development of Interference Free DECT technology, today announced from the 2010 Consumer Electronic Show its all-new suite of German engineered cordless technology products. Designed for the American consumer with world-class designs, Gigaset’s new line is now available online and in retailers nationwide. All products will be on display in the Campania Boardroom at Caesars Palace from January 7-10, 2010.

With Bluetooth technology and Gigaset One, you can answer your mobile phone from any home phone extension and this new system eliminates poor audio quality or cellular dead zones. Gigaset One allows users to connect up to three Bluetooth mobile phones, each with a unique ring tone, for a retail price of $99.99.

Siemens Gigaset SL785: In the cordless suite, the flagship model Siemens Gigaset SL785 sets a new standard for home communication with a sleek, ultra-modern metal frame, award-winning design and cutting-edge features like a industries largest full color display, full-duplex hands-free, Bluetooth(R) and USB interfaces. These cordless systems can be personalized with sounds and images easily at the click of a mouse with the new Gigaset software QuickSync 4.0. Siemens Gigaset SL785 retails for $189.99.

Siemens Gigaset SL400: Another all new model, the Siemens Gigaset SL400 sets a new standard for home communication with a ultra small, ultra-modern metal frame with award-winning design, large full color LCD, large backlighted keys and cutting-edge features like full-duplex hands-free, Bluetooth(R) and USB interfaces. These cordless systems can be personalized with sounds and images easily at the click of a mouse with the new Gigaset software QuickSync 4.0. This cordless phone system will be available in North America this Spring.

Siemens Gigaset ES5040: Comfortable calling with brilliant sound, the all new Gigaset ES5040 unveils intuitive technology in a corded telephony phone product. This premium corded phone has an illuminated keypad with a large key size and a large illuminated display with an adjustable angle. Designed to make calling simple in every situation, the Gigaset ES5040 has a unique proximity sensor for automatic illumination of the display and keypad, as well as a visual caller ID. Designed for both personal or home office telephony, the ES5040 retails from $69.99 and is available at retailers nationwide in this February.
