Berlin, Germany and Beverly, Mass. - snom technology AG, a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced voice over IP phones for enterprise and residential markets, announced today its line of SIP-based VoIP telephones is interoperable with CordiaIP Corp.’s (“Cordia”) global, flexible and low-cost business Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service.
Through the partnership, Cordia’s SIP service is now certified to integrate with snom’s portfolio of VoIP telephones. Cordia’s global service offers international business users of SIP trunking and IP PBXs high-quality and low-cost telephone service with built-in network flexibility and redundancy. Cordia’s SIP service, which is available through the agent channel, offers a host of features like inbound and outbound calling, toll-free, direct inward dialing, E-911 compliance, national directory listing, online billing, account management and a host of built-in features. Additionally, Cordia offers both global and domestic Unlimited Plans. Being certified by snom as an interoperability partner gives Cordia’s customers the ability to use snom’s portfolio of SIP-based business VoIP telephones in concert with Cordia’s service. snom’s offerings include the snom 320, snom 360, snom 370, snom 820, and the new snom 870 touchscreen phone. Users of Cordia can keep their existing PBX or Key System and use the Cordia-provided user access device to connect with the Cordia network. Cordia’s SIP service can be used as a primary or secondary carrier and utilizes multiple network nodes which offer numerous routes for the highest call completion for a business or call center. Additionally, in the event of an Internet outage, Cordia can transfer routes between nodes for redundancy and offers TDM/PSTN rollover capabilities. Customers can receive new telephone or toll free numbers or port their existing numbers to Cordia.
