TEKTRONIX AND ZK CELLTEST TEAM ON FIELD-FOCUSED NETWORK OPTIMIZATION SEMINAR

(NYSE: TEK), a leading worldwide provider of communications network management and diagnostics solutions, today announced they will jointly present a seminar on the optimization of wireless networks, Thursday, November 8th, 2007 at the Bellevue Club Hotel, 11200 SE 6th Street Bellevue, WA 98004. The seminar will run from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Lunch will be provided and a continental breakfast served from 8:15 - 9:00 am.
The seminar will focus on advanced techniques for the wireless field testing and optimization of cell phone networks with a focus on problem analysis and real-time repair in the field. The seminar will explore expert methods for interference hunting including out-of-channel interference, in-channel interference and coverage issues. Special emphasis will be placed on preventative maintenance and problem minimization through real-time continuous monitoring and troubleshooting of RF coverage, call drop rates, access failure rates, blocked calls and system capacity.
The seminar will review the experience of leading network operators in achieving superior network optimization with improved cost containment through the use of real-time field solutions. There will be an opportunity to see demonstrations and discuss both the Tektronix and ZK Celltest products.
