Telecommunications Association names Broadview top hosted VoIP provider.

RYE BROOK, N.Y., Apr 29, 2011—Broadview Networks announced today that the Telecommunications Association (TA) voted the company a 2010 “Top 5 Provider of Hosted VoIP” services in its annual ‘Members Choice’ poll of the best TA vendors.

In addition to honors for OfficeSuite(TM), Broadview’s hosted IP phone solution for business users, TA members also recognized Broadview as a “Top 10 CLEC” and as a “Top 10 Integrated Access” provider. The complete list of award winners in 26 categories can be found at TA Vote 2010.

Broadview continues to garner accolades for its products, services and partner programs. It was named a Top 50 Channel Program by Phone+/Channel Partners magazine in 2010, and was cited as one of the Top 75 Coolest Telecom Service Providers by CRN. OfficeSuite is Broadview’s flagship hosted IP phone solution and provides businesses with everything an organization needs to communicate over the phone and online, typically with no capital investment. It includes a complete “cloud-based” hosted phone system including phones, more than 40 calling features, an intuitive and simple-to-use Web portal to manage the service, and a robust calling plan that users at a given site share. Businesses also can easily add Broadview’s FrontLine(TM) MPLS service to securely connect locations in a fully meshed and QoS-enabled data network.

The Telecommunications Association is a membership organization of 3,800 telecom agents, value-added resellers (VARs), managed service providers (MSPs), distributors, consultants and auditors that recommend and distribute telecom, data and IT technology products and solutions to businesses. Each year members are invited to vote on the best vendors in multiple categories.

“Broadview is delighted to be recognized by the members of the Telecommunications Association, not only for the company’s OfficeSuite hosted IP phone solution and Integrated Access products, but also for being named as a top 10 competitive LEC/communications service provider. Businesses are presented with many choices for telecom services by the growing field of providers and resellers, so to be acknowledged by such an august group is highly gratifying,” said Rob Westervelt, senior vice president of Channel Partner Sales for Broadview Networks.

TA’s voting members are heavily experienced technology industry consultants and channel sales partners that have compared all the highest rated and affordable vendors against one another before recommending one or two to their business clients, who view TA’s members as trusted advisors. Having qualified voting members select TA’s vendors as their choice indicates that they are both trusted and proven in their respective category.
