Vennetics an innovator in PC client solutions today announced its partnership with WIT software a leading provider of advanced wireless and Voice/Video over IP solutions. The motivation for the partnership is to deliver a groundbreaking PC client for mobile operators that integrates existing mobile services with compelling VoIP- and video-based services.

WIT Software has been providing compelling IP based applications and services to mobile operators since 2001. According to Luis Silva, CEO and Founder of WIT Software “mobile operators want to respond to disruptive competitors like Skype and Google Talk. In the current economic climate operators need to start using the internet to transport calls in order to improve their call margins and at the same time provide their customers with lower cost calls. 1. Call Handover: a user can handover a PC based VoIP call to be seamlessly transferred to a standard mobile phone. The Call Handover feature is invoked by simply pressing the icon on the WIT Software VoIP Client.
2. Multi-Ring: allows an end user to configure and control whether an incoming call should cause their VoIP client and mobile phone to ring simultaneously or if they should ring individually.
