Wireless Small Business Phone Systems Webinar: Customer Care with Mobile Device Management
InnoPath Software, the leader in Mobile Device Management (MDM), will host a webinar on April 17 on the future of customer care for mobile operators. For mobile operators, customer care is an opportunity to differentiate in an increasingly commoditized market. As phones become more complex, the challenges of providing cost-effective customer care will escalate, and subscribers will have higher expectations.
Noted industry analyst Stephen Drake from IDC will present the findings presented in the recently published report, ‘Recognizing the Optimization of a Mobile Operator’s Customer Care Organization Through the Deployment of Mobile Device Management.’ The paper identifies major operator issues, including stress due to the growing number of smartphone users, increased learning curves for the CSR due to complexity, and support problems due to multi-siloed organizations. The report goes on to describe how an MDM strategy can eliminate these pain points.
David Ginsburg from InnoPath will quantify these pain points and describe the ROI of an MDM strategy. InnoPath calculates that costs associated with these pains, such as handsets recalls, returns, and lengthy customer care calls, add up to over $5.5 billion annually, much of which can be addressed with MDM. The analysis used in this presentation will be based on actual operator findings. The discussion will also touch on the next step in MDM-enabled customer care – the deployment of care portals for front line CSRs and subscribers, as well as how the evolution of the MDM market and OMA-DM standards will enable forward-looking operators to implement MDM in support of customer care.
