Call Center Products: Dialogic Strengthens Hybrid Contact Center and IVR Platforms
Introduces Additional Dialogic® HMP Interface Boards with Echo Cancellation Off-Load and PCI Express Form Factor 2008 China International Call Center BOP Conference 2008
Dialogic Corporation ("Dialogic"), a global provider of world-class products and technologies for media and signal processing, has added new strength to its platforms for hybrid TDM-IP contact center and IVR. With the introduction of its latest generation of Dialogic® HMP Interface Boards using PCI Express interface and G.168 echo cancellation off-load, the company has expanded its product offerings in VoIP host media processing technologies and multimedia development platforms. Dialogic® HMP Interface Boards (DNI Boards) match digital PSTN and PBX network interfaces and protocols with Dialogic® Host Media Processing Software and IP network interfaces and protocols. The combination of host based media processing and Dialogic® DNI Boards constitute a highly flexible and cost efficient platform for delivering reliable new contact center and IVR applications that can be deployed into pure TDM, hybrid TDM-IP, and pure IP environments.
“Dialogic is a worldwide leader in providing open standard platforms for multimedia applications to the enterprise and service provider markets. As the demand for contact center and IVR solutions accelerates in global markets, we have already released hybrid TDM-IP technologies to enable media rich applications to be created and deployed rapidly, and in the most cost-effective and efficient manner,” stated Jim Machi, senior vice president of marketing at Dialogic.
Mr. Wu Yimin of Beijing Infobird Software agrees. “We have developed a very competitive offering to meet the needs of distributed financial organizations in the PRC market using Dialogic® Host Media Processing Software and Dialogic® DNI Boards. The Infobird solution can be distributed with PSTN / PBX connectivity for local end user access to the system, and supported by IP agents and IVR servers located anywhere on the corporate IP network. Customers adopting our solution benefit from the cost efficiencies of reliable Dialogic standards based technology and Infobird software solution expertise.”
The new hardware products announced today include three new boards; single, dual and quad density T1 / E1 designs which compliment an existing octal span (240 channel) DNI Board introduced by Dialogic in late 2007. All four of the PCI Express boards include full density, G.168 compliant echo cancellation off-load up to 128ms which provides excellent audio quality in hybrid TDM-IP applications, while preserving the host system processor to run rich media loads, transcoding and application code.
NuVoxx, a Canadian developer of hosted IVR and call center applications is in the final stages of porting their Linux-based platform to Dialogic® Host Media Processing Software and DNI Boards. “We wanted to address the growing need to interconnect our customers contact center sites via SIP trunks,” states Miroslav Mostic, Chief Technology Officer for Nuvoxx. “As a long time customer of Dialogic, the migration to HMP software and DNI boards was relatively painless. The resulting solution provides our customers an efficient hybrid contact center architecture that can support both high density digital PSTN connections and the VoIP connections needed to interconnect remote sites and agents.”
