Northland Cable Television to Offer SinglePipe Digital Phone Service To U.S. Business and Residential Customers
SinglePipe Communications (SinglePipe) and Northland Cable Television (Northland) today announced that SinglePipe will serve as the managed voice service provider for Northland’s residential and business digital phone customers in selected markets.
“We were impressed with SinglePipe’s service reliability and with the quality of their current network, customer service and ability to execute,” Jack Dyste, Senior Vice President, Northland Cable Television. “But, just as important to us was their corporate mission and vision for the future. It is critical to our business development plans that we selected a partner whose platform would facilitate our continued geographic growth and service offering expansion. SinglePipe’s track record and willingness to integrate our company’s back office systems made them a compelling choice for us.”
SinglePipe’s managed service solution is a turn-key Digital Voice product that includes a range of packages for both residential and small to medium businesses, including regulatory compliance, FCC-compliant 911, local number portability, complete back office integration, and Tier 2/3 support.
“As a top U.S. cable operator, we are excited to add Northland to the SinglePipe family,” said Matt Phillips, CEO, SinglePipe Communications. “Their continued success in providing real value to customers through the cost-effective delivery of high-quality services is a perfect match for SinglePipe, as our focus is empowering cable operators to do precisely that. We look forward to working closely with Northland and to rolling out SinglePipe-powered digital phone services to their current and future customers across the U.S.”
A vital component of SinglePipe’s offering is its SinglePipe Integrated Provisioning System (SIPS), which gives the company the unique ability to integrate its Web-based back office solution with Northland’s (and other cable operators’) current systems. Also of note, is that SIPS is integrated with a service-provisioning gateway, which facilitates flow-through billing and provisioning for commercial and residential VoIP services. The SIPS platform also incorporates customer care and support services software, which enables operators to rapidly launch new revenue generating services, provide excellent customer care, and ensure high levels of network availability.
