These are some of the common questions we are asked regarding getting your company listed on TelephonyWorld and how to best take advantage of all the great services we provide all of our partners.

1. Hi, I'm really impressed with your site and have decided to go ahead with the marketing package. I am looking for a little more information on the company / product profiles.  What I need to know is how everything is set up and what you would actually need from our company?

   A. When you order your marketing package, our designers will go to your website and actually take the information they need to create your buyers guide profile such as your logo, text about your company, links to your products/services, news, and other vital info.
    
   They'll then use this to create your profile and load it to the site. On your profile, we will also have your complete business address, phone and fax#s and link to your website.
    
   We do all of this up-front work to insure consistency with all of our profiles, and so that we can off-load the responsibility from you. We know how busy you can be!
    
   Once your profile is completed and launched, you will receive notice from us, and are encouraged to review it. If at any time you would like to make changes, a simple e-mail or phone call to us is all it takes to get the job done

    

2. How often can we change our information that you have in our listings, and how do we go about doing this?
   
   A. You can make changes to your listing as often as necessary. Simply send us details of what needs to be changed and our designers will make the changes within 24 hours!
   

3. I'd like to try a listing in the fax section of your site, but might want to later be listed in a different category. Can this be done without additional charges?
   
   A. Sure! Just notify us of the change.
   

4. How do I know how many viewers visit my profiles? Do you provide any reporting?
   
   A. Your company profile will have a "counter" added to the bottom of your page. Whenever you want to see an up to the minute count of your viewers, simply go to your page and check the counter. Your webmaster should also be able to tell you how many visitors come to your website from TelephonyWorld. They can get this information from their server log files.
   

5. Hi, I've been following your site for a while now and many of our competitors are there. We want to advertise as a sponsor and I want to know if we need to order a profile and listing first?
   
   A. Most of our sponsor programs include your profile as part of the plan. You need to sign up for your sponsorship, and at that time you can specify where your listing will be placed. To order a sponsorship go HERE
   

6. I want to get some banner advertising, but I don't understand much about it yet. Could you please explain the terminology and how it works?
   
   A. Well, this is a topic that could take up volumes. Basically advertising on the web is a great way to develop your brand and image on the web. A "Banner" advertisement comes in many various sizes and shapes, and appears in various places on a web page.
   
   The best results come when you advertise on a well targeted site like TelephonyWorld. Banner ads are usually priced in terms of CPM or "Cost per 1000" views/impressions. This means that for every 1000 times your banner is shown on a webpage, you are charged that price. A high traffic site like TelephonyWorld often shows thousands of banners or page views per day and therefore your exposure will be very high. When someone clicks on your banner, they are directly sent to your website where they can see more of what you have to offer. Typical "Click" responses on the internet today average about 0.2%
   
   Many of the advertisers on TelephonyWorld, especially our sponsors, average from 2% to over 4%!  Advertising in conjunction with your company profile, press and news releases, and product reviews all add up to more qualified leads.
   

7. Can I have more than one banner, and can I specify what section my banners appear in?
   
   A. Yes. Our banner software is very sophisticated and you can have multiple banners that will rotate through your campaign. You will also get details of your banner stats that you can check anytime from your browser. Fast accurate and easy.
    

8. Hi. How do you distribute the RFP leads and how much will it cost me if I close a deal? Do I get leads only specific to my company? I love this idea but I need some more details.
   
   A. As part of the marketing package, we qualify the RFP leads we receive and then send them to you. Based on feedback from other partners, we do not choose what leads we send you. You will get a list of all qualified leads for that given week and then you can choose the ones you want to contact. We also do not charge any additional fees or take commissions from these sales. They are yours.
