On November 15, 1999, Parity Software was acquired by Intel Corporation. Join the expanding Parity Software division as we work together with Dialogic Corporation to facilitate Intel's impact into the telcom industry.
Parity is hiring a FAE for both the Brussels and Singapore offices.
Function:
Assist customers in the development of telephony applications using Parity products. Build prototype and sample applications for demonstration, training, and customization. Provide on-site programming services for implementation of customer’s development projects and training of their programming staff.
Reports to:
Manager, Customer Engineering.
Responsibilities:
Design, build and install prototype programs to customer specifications to demonstrate the basic processing requirements of applications. Design, build, and document sample applications for use in training, and deployment as starter applications. Design, build, and administer training projects for general and specific customer training in telephony application development using Parity products. Research and answer questions on the use of Parity products and details of computer telephony submitted via e-mail and telephone. Assist in development of new products by reviewing and testing software and documentation. Assist sales through direct contact with prospects or customers to explain product features. In-house or off-site training and consulting for prospects or customers.
Skills Required:
Languages: English and at least one of the following: German or French (Europe) and Cantonese/Mandarin (Singapore)
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills. Well-organized and able to work independently knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Visual Basic, Delphi, Microsoft Access, or Parity’s VOS product Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
Previous VOS Programming experience highly desirable! A computer science or engineering degree or equivalent an advantage but not a requirement. Experience with any of the following an advantage but not required: C, C++, Visual C++, Visual Basic, ActiveX, COM, Internet telephony, computer telephony, telecommunications, application design and development.
