We are looking for Senior Software Engineers to work with a team of developers to create value for customers by delivering converged voice, video, and data solutions. Work duties will include design and coding in C and C++ on a Unix platform and virtually any other tasks that may be required.
Requirements:
BA/BS required in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
1+ years of experience in TCP/IP, VoIP, MGCP
3+ years of industry experience including engineering development
Strong software design and implementation skills with hands on experience using C and/or C++
A sound understanding of the software development lifecycle and a fluency in C and/or C++ programming
Understand key development issues and be able to balance the competing demands of high quality and on time software releases .
Demonstrated ability to analyze and understand the operation of complex, distributed systems
3+ years of software development or robust validation experience
Strong understanding of data communication, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and the Internet.
Experience with Unix development environment
Familiarity with hardware and computer architecture design
Good oral and written communication skills
A highly motivated self-starter and team player
Good organization skills (detail oriented)
Preferred:
Experience with multi-media protocols such H.323, MGCP, and SIP
Telecom experience
