im at school and i hate blocked sites, apparently the school is using n2h2 and use keywords as well as a specific list to block sites, when i go to a site one day that they havent gotten to yet it is blocked the next day, i went to these sites you listed and one is already blocked idmask doesn't support netscape communicator for some reason i also tried it in ie 5. I really dont care about them blocking some of the sites, but they are blocking things like ebay and yahoo search engines, i really think they are over stepping there boundarys and i heard n2h2 uses bess. I have done some research and apparently the save all the sites that the students go to and sell some of the information on the most accesed sites to companys, IE profit for telling them some of the more popular sites, that is definently an insult to me as a student that me surfing the web for my html sites also means i am taking part in a survey that i have no consent to stop, worst of all they dont even tell us that they save this info. I would discontinue my use of the internet period but had it been for i have to access sites for my classes. I have looked on some of the other search engine for ways to get past bess and havent found anything that works. Not to mention every site i got to today to prevent bess will be blocked tomorrow by some idiot behind a computer that looks at the listings of sites i've been to and double-clicks my freedom away. I am absolutely inferiated as to why they have blocked so many sityes, not to mention there keywords block some usuful sites that have relevance to school and contain no inappropriate material. My peirs that i have informed have also thouroghly searched the web for ways to get past bess but cant seem to find anything. We are all very frusturated because of this and anything you can do to help me would be sincerly appreciated. I have looked and have found ways to get past it like using the network browser to route my site info other ways but need administrative access to change anything of importance. I have found little holes in the chools system as have others and password guessing is about as usful as a kick in the ass right now, anything hacker material would be extremely ususful and would totatally be put to use, i hope i can access this site from school tomorow but if not i will simply go here from how. I am only looking for some listings of some other ways to bypass the bess system, and things that would have no relevance to this problem would be usless but anything password related like passhacks would be greatly appreciated to gain admin properties and disable this system. I have asked some people i know to maybe see if they can hack this system but unnecesary risks are tring to be avoided, i dont wish anyone to get in trouble because of this so any hacking would be reason to e investigated, so anything i can access from this computer would be much more usful so that they can not track an ip address to anything related to any students. I would really appreciate any help and would like to make sure you dont view me as some rebelious kid trying to beat the system, it is not so, merely I dont like anybody infringing on my rights unneccsarily and right of public access should be totally ok, its not like i want to view pornographic material or anything of the sort. I have probably bored you by now and you are most likely scrolling down to read the end of this message so I am going to finish at this. Last of all I just wish to be able to show the school that they can not totally control us on topics that have no danger or illegalness, just merely surfing the web in my free time and help is usuful and a response is followed by my greatest gratitude.
